What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

We will from time to time collate and be in receipt of résumés from prospective employees.

Our recruitment process is supported by professional recruitment services who will process personal information specifically for candidate selection and assessment.

If you are a successful candidate, we will also request to collate the following as required by statutory requirements for employment in Australia:

·       References

·       Police Check

·       Insurance Policies (Contractors / Partners only)

We will request sight of the following, but will not retain copies of:

·       Visa / Passport / Birth Certification – to verify your ‘right to work’ in Australia.

We may retain your résumé and contact details for up to 6 months as there may not be an immediate opportunity available for you. At this point we may contact you to request consent to further retain your details if we believe that you remain a good fit for the company.

Disclosure of Personal Information

Your Personal Information may be disclosed in the following circumstances:

·       To clients on request (employees, contractors and partners only) for example in the submission of proposals or tenders;

·       Third parties where you consent to the use or disclosure; and

·       Where required or authorised by law.

Security of Personal Information

Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.
